Articles seeking to discuss the questionable activities of Semir Osmanagich and his Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation frequently meet with a torrent of cumber and curious retorts/denials from its members, associates and co-workers by means of, as some believe, wild tales of conjured fancy or with indiscriminate threats of legal action.

Semir Osmanagich  and his father Muris Osmanagich have published articles (which they deem scientific), have selectively
quoted questionable comments of choice and partial participants who only have an incidental connection with the investigation, lectured extensively, produced videos of the same, and granted interviews about their discovery and excavation of so-called pyramids in Bosnia: structures that supposedly represent a  magnificent feat of engineering by an ancient race of beings, whether descendents of aliens, pre-Illyrians, or  prehistoric people who lived millions of years ago. At times, these claims seem to border, or even sometimes cross, the threshold into the realm of science fiction – as witness the supposed significance of the T2 megalith found in the tunnel near Ravne: "Secrets of the Pre-Historic Relief."

Having originally claimed "the world's largest pyramid" was erected  12,000 years ago, Semir needed a propriety culture represented in the archaeological record suited for such a grandiose endeavor. When perplexed academics challenged Semir to demonstrate such a race, conveniently and in salvation, conspicuous marks on massive stones suddenly appeared in a tunnel he was boring. This tunnel, henceforward known as Ravne Tunnel, was used for military purposes during the time of the Bosnian war, although there is also local anecdotal evidence of other uses to which it was put at one time or another. One thing, however, is beyond dispute:  it is not a devised ancient tunnel cognate of archaic civil engineering of subterranean mazes and corridors connecting portals of ancient geometric monuments, i.e., "pyramids," as Semir proclaims, located within a geometrically designed landscape.

THE INCONSISTENCIES ARE OUTSTANDING AND BLATANT

Below, I present original photographic images, and point out inconsistencies that appear in the various reports written by, and comments made by, Semir and Muris Osmanagich, as well as by Husic Ensad. These are just a few of the controversial aspects I have observed. When I can, I shall be posting more. I want to thank Irna (Le site d' Irna - Owner & Writer) and Hermione (Hall of Ma'at - Owner & Moderator) for their support and help towards me for getting up and running. Hermione had posted me about the news article that Irna had published on her site, "Nadija Nukic: Osmanagic has driven away the scientists from the project", and I started working on isolating the imagery and many inconsistencies in the published accounts of the excavations conducted by Osmanagich in Bosnia.

All images posted are original image files from digital photographs taken by Colette Dowell and Robert Schoch while in Visoko, Bosnia, late July and early August of 2006 - all graphics are made by Colette Dowell - dates and times of original photographs/graphics will be found in advanced properties of the image.

This photograph was sent to me by Meho Macic for me to put up on my site, Circular Times. The photograph of the "single arrow" (below) was never in circulation or posted on any sites that were in the "know" of the ongoing dealings and excavations of Semir Osmanagich and his Foundation.

There is a remarkable lack of correlation between the various images/illustrations/photographs of the marks/symbols on the stones.

THE  CURIOUS ARROW ON T1

July 28th, 2006 - Semir Osmanagich gives a lecture in Visoko to locals and tourists who came for the annual folk festival. He showed this slide of the "T1" with a single arrow on it.

This is a list of all of the symbols found on both the T1 & T2 stones as illustrated below in the paper, "Comparison of the Symbols and Signs," by Muris Osmanagich. However, the crescent on the T1 (which is outstanding unto the rest of them), is not listed in this chart that was designed to represent all existing symbols on the T1 and T2 megaliths. The T2 stone, on the other hand, generates an entirely different set of questions.

ANCIENT HUNGARIAN RUNIC WRITING

COMPARISON BETWEEN THE SIGN-SYSTEMS OF THE CARPATHIAN BASIN, THE BOSNIAN PYRAMIDS AND GLOZEL - "Gábor Szakács, who went to the site in June 2006 for the first time, found the symbols on the megalithic blocks inside the tunnel of the Pyramid of the Sun, which correspond to the ancient Hungarian runic writings."

Dr. Aly Abdulah Barakat, Muris Osmanagich, Enver Hasic, Mesud Talic, Islam Cero, Husic Ensad, Semir Osmanagich and Gábor Szakács are all stated as being present when the inscriptions were discovered, but various papers give different dates for the discovery of the stones and the inscriptions.  What is the truth?

This is the above photograph DSCF9459, of the notes I took to give Amir Moustafa and Zoran Cica when I was interviewed with Robert on August 6, 2006. I have lightened it up so it can be read clearly. You will see the file numbers that are written down and the explanation of what they are. This page was given to Zoran so he could compare the file numbers with the captions. You will see that I have used the same image files below to show evidence of the new inscription on the T1 stone.

7358 as per notes - 7358 as per notes - - July 30th, 2006: In this photograph, I am removing debris from the stone named the T1 megalith (famous "E" stone). Since Nadija’s last visit to the tunnel, debris had collapsed over the stone, obscuring part of its view.  There was also a new mark on the stone that Nadija had never seen before: a fact that forms a very significant piece of evidence. Someone had taken a previous photograph of this part of the stone, and had made a graphic of it to show that there was an arrow on it. On close examination of this previous photograph with the arrow, it reveals the appearance of the arrow having been drawn in (compare the photographs above and below, to the photo from Semir’s slide show lecture depicting an arrow).

A semi reconstruction of events and possible scenario: When Nadija first sees this stone known as the T1,  it bears no legible marks or symbols. She then sees it on another occasion, at which time it now bears some marks on it.  Upon further visits to the tunnel,  Nadija notices the appearance of the T1 stone has dramatically changed and it no longer resembles the original stone she first observed.  Time moves on, Nadija does not enter the tunnel. During this period that Nadija does not enter the tunnel, another mark is made on the stone.  The stone is then photographed in order that someone can detail an arrow on the photograph itself (this is the slide that Semir subsequently uses to promote the idea of ancient inscriptions having been made on the stones, and to support his request for 20 million dollars to fund further excavation work). Nadija comes back into the tunnel with us on July 30th, 2006, and we inspect the stone. But there is debris on it, I remove it and find a mark. Nadija had not seen this mark on the stone before.

Comments: Also, if this "arrow" mark was on the stone when it was being photographed for its inscriptions - why was it not photographed when the infamous "E" was? As you will notice, the quality of the photograph of the arrow is much different then the photograph that is taken for the "E" inscription. This mark, the arrow, was not even promoted as an inscription until Semir started using a picture of it in his slide show lecture when he asked people to donate money to his Foundation so he can discover "this ancient culture" and uncover "their pyramid."  I had never seen a picture of it on the Foundations' website piramidasunca, or any other news site (of course it could be said that at the time Semir did not think it was an important enough symbol to show the public at the time - only later for his lectures.  However, Muris comments on the "deeply engraved arrow" and not the symbol "E"  in his paper, "Discovery of the T1 Megalith," which was not published until a few months after the initial discoveries, possibly allowing enough time to create an arrow and make a slide for Semir to use). Semir started posting promotional papers and comments on the inscriptions over mid May, of 2006. It was July 28th, 2006, a few days before I went into the tunnel, when I attended  Semir's slide show lecture he presented in Visoko. I had it in my mind about the inscription being on the T1 stone in that particular placement, and that is one reason why too, besides obscuring the view of the surface of the stone, I was removing the debris on it, as I was curious to see if that arrow was really inscribed on it. One could argue it was not uncovered when the "E" was. But, considering the Foundation was posting all it could to promote their cause, there was surely enough time to photograph it and post it on their website, piramidasunca, before late July of 2006. After all, Muris Osmanagich had  "documented" it on June 17th, 2006, when he drew the diagram of the said T1 stone and published it in his "Discovery of the T1 Megalith."

This is a close up graphic I made for the website - it does not show a "deeply engraved arrow" - it shows marks that almost look like the letter M.........the natural veins of the stone show in a darker pigment and lend to 'shadow' of other areas that may seem as a mark, but, they are NOT.

These are the series of original graphics I made up to analyze the mark of the arrow from Semir's slide and our original photographs of the stone. I had lightened up the picture and changed its hue to match that of Semi's color tones, and this way I was able to more clearly see that it was not matched up. It was obvious to me that Semir's photograph he uses for his slide was altered and the arrow was clearly drawn in. There is absolutely NO ARROW on that stone. There is a mark that looks like an unfinished letter M.

This is close up of my image, sampres9. This image of the "T1" megalith, originally taken on July 30th, 2006, does not look at all like the arrow that is on Semir's slide he presents to the public.

This is the same picture as above, just repeated here, close by the others, so you can see even with out the filter on the photograph, there is no "deeply engraved arrow." What does show is possibly an unfinished letter M.

SIDE NOTE: The ground-strata above the cut and bulldozed terraces on the face of the hills (Visoko Hill = Sun  Pyramid ; and  Plješevica Hill = Moon Pyramid) are composed of millions of year old dirt and rocks.   So how does Semir explain the layers of Miocene (approximately 5-22 million years ago - give or take a few million) organics - sandstone, clay, fossil debris, etc. - found on top of "his" man made pyramid?

I had written the above statement as the opening paragraph to my article as posted below in March of 2008.  Subsequent to my publishing of  "A Paper on the Controversies Surrounding the Ancient Inscriptions on the T1 and the T2 Megaliths Found in the Ravne Tunnel," Semir Osmanagich's website has once again published inappropriate and false statements against my character and other scientists, doctors and researchers who were/are involved in uncovering truths pertaining to the colossal excavations of the hills of Visoko, Bosnia, and Semir's claims to "the world's largest pyramid."

On April 12, 2008 I wrote to Semir Osmanagich and his associates who are listed as members of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation. I have not received one reply as of yet, nor has the article been removed in English or the Bosnian language.

This is not the first time Semir and his followers have written tabloid grade untrue statements against my person or others. This same individual had posted on the Daily Grail on 24/10/2006 as:

Greg Taylor, owner of the Daily Grail removed the slander which also included me smoking pot in public and other allegations which were totally ludicrous. I had not even drank any alcoholic beverages while I was in Bosnia. Robert Schoch and I discussed the posting, I have files of the event on record. Once Greg removed the slander, this individual logged in once again and tried to post, however Greg caught it and it was once again immediately removed. Please see excerpts from some original emails.

Post on the Grail addressing the gross comments made by this Merima person (who I guess is maybe a woman after all).

Merima you have made some very grievous allegations. Hearsay and slander are not not arguments. By not nameing names, or sources you are not protecting anyone, you are only protecting your groundless allegations. I will not say much more about this subject but when people speak or write in forums as you just have. I dismiss them as liars and troublemakers. These sort of attacks leave me wondering how low you will go?

There are many problems with the stories this person is writing as in not knowing my personal character, they have written things that a person who is AGORAPHOBIC is not capable of doing, as it is beyond their scope of any interaction. I have addressed my agoraphobia to the public in a little video I made and was posted in early 2005 with Robert and me. I had decided to do so, as many individuals had asked me many times throughout the recent years why I had turned into a recluse. Often I have been compared to Sigourney Weaver in the movie "Copy Cat," whom created a new world around her consisting of only computers and one caretaker. As far as me venturing into the outside world and having any interaction with others, I was only able to do this when I traveled with Robert Schoch. I have tried to recover (diagnosed in 2003) and I am presently still making efforts - but, it is slow and very difficult for me.This attempt of Merima and the Pyramid of the Sun Foundation and / or any and all websites that are believers and promoters of Semir Osmanagich, who slander and try to diminish my credibility will not stop me from publishing reports.
